Congratulations to all who received their honours from The Princess Royal at Windsor Castle today!

Former England fast bowler James Anderson has received a knighthood during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.

The 43-year-old was recognised in former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s 2024 honours list for his extraordinary contribution to cricket. Anderson, England’s all-time leading Test wicket-taker with 704 dismissals, is widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers in the sport’s history.

Also honoured at the ceremony was musician Graham Gouldman, the long-standing frontman of the band 10cc, who received a knighthood for his services to music. Former Sky News journalist and current BBC chief economics correspondent Dharshini David was made an OBE for her contribution to the field of economics.
