During Royal Week (3–9 June), King Charles III made a historic visit to Italy, addressing Parliament in Rome on 8 June. In an eloquent speech, he reflected on shared heritage and global challenges such as sustainability and cultural diplomacy. He also presented the new Sovereign’s Standard to the Blues and Royals. The tour marked a deepening of UK–Italy ties and offered a thoughtful exercise in soft diplomacy via royal engagement.
