Hülya Özkoyuncu graduated from Marmara University, Media and Communication, Eskişehir OEF,
Department of Science and Literature Sociology, and master of science in journalism, broadcasting
communications completed her master’s degree in press and broadcasting at Girne American
University with great success.
She held senior positions in many media organizations. The media institutions and companies she
worked for are as follows: General Coordinator of Gaziantep Oluşum newspaper, Program Producer
of Gaziantep TV 27, Program Editor of Cyprus Young TV, director-in-Chief and General Manager of
Yeni Bakış newspaper.
Currently, she is a member of Northern Cyprus Foreign Press Association, Bavarian Turkish
Journalists Association ( London Representative) Association of Turkish-British Journalists’ (Deputy
Chairman), National Union of Journalists (Member and Press Card holder) Editor-in-Chief of The Best
Magazine.
