Street Art Trail Brings Colour to Southend on Sea

Across Southend-on‑Sea last month, around 60 street artists transformed walls, lampposts, and pavements as part of the annual “City Jam” arts trail From vibrant horse murals to abstract installations, the event drew families, tourists, and artists alike. Murmurs of surprise and delight rippled through the crowds—especially at Yeko’s dynamic equine portrait near the pier. Organisers hope the free festival will grow into a permanent cultural fixture.
