TABA-AmCham Brings Together the Business Community in London for a Networking Reception

The London Five O’Clock Tea Reception & Roundtable Networking event, organized by TABA-AmCham, was held in London under the hosting of TABA-AmCham UK/London Representative Attorney Cem Congar and with the participation of H.E. Osman Koray Ertaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the United Kingdom.
Among the distinguished attendees were H.E. Ambassador Osman Koray Ertaş, TABA-AmCham Board Member and Treasurer Ulaş Kayacan, High Advisory Board Member Ç. Koray Öztopçu, UK/London Representative Attorney Cem Congar, Business Club Board of Trustees Member Tuba Saraçoğlu, TABA-AmCham Member Gökmen Özdemir, as well as representatives of the Turkish and British business communities, members of the diplomatic corps, trade counsellors, attachés, and TABA-AmCham members.
The roundtable session, moderated by Ulaş Kayacan, focused on the commercial and economic relations between Türkiye and the United Kingdom, the impact of current global developments on the business community, investment and trade opportunities, and emerging areas of bilateral cooperation.
Participants exchanged views on opportunities to increase bilateral trade volume while emphasizing the importance of strengthening communication between the two business communities and fostering joint projects.
TABA-AmCham officials stated that the event contributed to further enhancing the economic relationship between Türkiye and the United Kingdom and expressed their appreciation to all guests for their participation.
The organization also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing efforts aimed at expanding trade, investment, and business cooperation between the two countries in the coming period.
Following the official program, participants gathered at Hafız Mustafa 1864 in London’s Knightsbridge district for afternoon tea and traditional Turkish desserts.
The informal reception provided an opportunity for attendees to continue their discussions in a relaxed atmosphere, strengthen professional connections, and establish new business relationships through networking.
